Black OUGES Top & Red Pants

September 24, 2021

How to wear a black shirt with red pants and sandals for late Summer or early Fall.

When I received this black Ouges brand top in my September Amazon Wardrobe box, I was pretty happy. I have a similar top that I received in an earlier box that is the same brand, and I love the fit of it. I think the raglan style gives me a sort of confidence. I am a 42″ bust wearing the size Medium.

What is Amazon Wardrobe? Check out my Red, White & Blue Amazon Finds post for all the details.

I decided to pair this top with some red VIP Jeans pants. I got these pants from Ross last year. They have belt loops, but also have a drawstring. Though the drawstring doesn’t work as well as a belt, I do like the look of it tied in a bow. These pants are very comfortable, but I wish there was some compression in the belly area. My waist is 35″ and my hips are 44.5″, and I’m wearing a size 13 (junior sizing).

My slingback sandals are from Old Navy. I got them on sale last year. I love these sandals. I have them in both brown and black.

I’m rocking some black and white polka dot nails with this outfit. The black is a glittery black called Black Mamba from Spoiled by Wet n Wild, but I think Dreamy from Maniology or Soho-ver It from Color Street would be good alternatives.

Next, I used my dotting tool to make some white polka dots with Maniology’s Bam! White. You can use code ROCKWOOD10 at check out for 10% off

I didn’t end up keeping this top only because I really wanted to keep the leggings I received in this same box, and I could only afford one item this month, but I’ve put it onto my wish list. $16.99 is a great price!

I really like it in this teal and white combination too.

Cute top! I really love those sporty stripes on the sleeves. These red pants are a nice pop of color with the b/w on top.

This is such a cute outfit! I love the color combo and this reminds me to pull out my burgundy pants. It’s supposed to cool off next weekend so… maybe more fall outfits? And your nails are adorable!

That is such a cute tee on you – it’s a shame you couldn’t keep it, it looks lovely with the red pants and I like the print mix of the polka dot nails too!

I know! I was a little bummed, but I think I will order it now as a holiday gift to myself.

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind On Rockwood Lane and EyeLoveKnots! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden orΒ re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.

It's lip balm season, and these lip balm holders are excellent! They come on a swivel hook that can be attached anywhere for easy access, and to make sure you don't lost your lip balm at the bottom of your bag. I personally have one of these. The quality is great, and Candace is lovely to work with! PLUS they come in 11 colors!
