How to wear a cozy gray sweater with light colored denim jeans, a taupe bobble scarf and gold wedges. Perfect outfit for Fall, Winter and Spring!

I designed this bobble scarf a couple years ago, and published in my eBook Let’s Crochet Some Scarves, Vol 1 on Etsy.

Back then, I snapped some photos on my dress form that give me a more Fall vibe (shown above) so as I am getting ready to publish the individual pattern for this Bobblish Scarf on my EyeLoveKnots blog, I wanted a more neutral, Wintery vibe, since pretty much every state except us here in Florida is experiencing Winter – haha!! It was around 70 degrees yesterday afternoon while I was taking these photos.

I crocheted my scarf using 100% acrylic yarn in a colorway called Fleck Buff, which is a taupe colored base with flecks of gray, black and white that sort of reminds me of tweed. Tough to see in the photos, but beautiful up close. I found similar taupe crocheted scarves from LilyandBeck and LavenderLoopsCrochet.

I purchased this gray Jon & Anna sweater from DDs Discount a couple years ago. I think it was around $11 or $13, and I got it in taupe as well. I am a 42″ bust wearing the size Large. It fits oversized. I will admit, I don’t care for oversized tops so I don’t wear it as often as other pieces, but it is so soft and cozy! I really like the buttons down the side too.
I found these really nice, cozy gray sweaters on Amazon that would be great alternatives: Niashot Sweater, Merokeety Sweater and Blooming Jelly Sweater.

I paired my sweater and scarf with my light colored, super skinny mid-rise Rockstar jeans from Old Navy (I love the fit of these!). I am 5โ6โณ and 183 pounds wearing the size 10.

And my gorgeous shoes are Belladia brand that I also found at DDs Discount a couple years ago. They are a sparkly gold, champagne-y mesh low wedge Mary Jane like shoe just with an ankle strap rather than over the top of the foot strap. I am so in love, but also so sad because they hurt my feet!
I normally wear a size 9, and in many of the shoes I find at DDs, I size up to a 10 – these are a 10. I bought these a couple years ago, but I think I never wore them out… It’s hard to remember right now, but I believe I tried them on standing in the store, and they fit fine, and then I brought them home to wear out on Valentine’s Day, and either we didn’t go or I didn’t wear them because I would like to believe I would have noticed my toes being too cramped when walking around… Hmm… If I can find them in a size 11, I will buy them in a heart beat though! Thanks so much, Suzy! I have a lot of fun creating things I can wear and use in my home.
I love this casual outfit! So nice for winter ๐ The scarf and the shoes are cute accessories, what a shame that the shoes hurt your feet! Hope you can find them in a better size!
