How to make an easy red car Christmas jar in just a few minutes!

Things got hectic when I went back to work, so it’s been a few months since my last Pinterest Challenge, but happy to be participating in this one!

The last one I did was a Fall inspired Wool & Velvet Pumpkin Cloche.
This month’s theme is Christmas Jar.

Our inspiration comes from Katrin of Northern Feeling, and it’s her Simple Holiday Village in a Jar.
The Challenge
Every month, Cindy from County Road 407 sends us a Pinterest photo that fits our theme. The purpose of the challenge is to inspire us to take elements from the inspiration, and use them in our own unique way.

The Pieces That Inspired Me
- Obviously, the jar
- Snow!
- Fairy Lights

This glass bowl was a gift to me, and it was perfect for this holiday project!
I stopped by my local Walmart to get a few things for the house, and while I was there, I went to the Christmas section, and found a big bag of “snow”, and the cute little car was there as well near the village pieces. I love that the headlights come on!
It took me only a few minutes to put this together, which was perfect for my busy week, and really is a cute decor piece! I have it on my entryway table next to a basket of ornaments.
I know it’s a bit early, and my Fall decor is also still out, but I have been thinking about introducing some Christmas magic a little bit early this year. Plus, while organizing the spare room this last weekend, I pulled out the Christmas tree, and don’t really want to have to bag it up, and put it in the [new] shed just yet… Maybe I will hold off a tiny bit more, but dress up the tree for Fall. What do you think? What are your decor plans?

I had no idea you blogged here also, Alexandra. Now that I do, I’ll follow you here as well. Very cute Christmas jar, I adore those miniature vintage red trucks.
I appreciate the follow! Yes, this is my new blog for all things not yarn related. I also am loving the red truck trend – they have such pretty decor out this year!

Yes! Quick and easy is the best. I almost though it was too simple to share, but then I thought that sometimes the simple things go right over our heads, and I loved this simple little idea that is so easy to pull together that anyone could do.
I love your new blog name and your fanciful Christmas jar. You are being featured on the Little Cottage Link Party tomorrow.
Thank you so much, Kristie! Yes, this will be my new blog for non-yarn related posts. I really appreciate the feature!
