Kindred Spirits Wolf Plates

January 6, 2022

In this week’s edition of Thrift Store Thursday, I’m sharing this beautiful set of decorative Kindred Spirits Wolf Plates.

This post contains affiliate links for eBay. If you make a purchase by clicking on them, I make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for your support!

In this week’s edition of Thrift Store Thursday, I’m sharing this beautiful set of decorative Kindred Spirits Wolf Plates.

This is an 8 piece set of decorative plates from 1995 – 1996, and are designed by Diana Casey for the Bradford Exchange.

The back of the plate says this “collection is produced on hard-fire porcelain in an edition limited to a maximum of 95 firing days and crafted to the exacting standards of The Bradford Exchange. Not for food use – food consumed from this plate may be harmful. Decorative art object.”

The plate measures about 8″ in diameter. If you look closely in the center, you will see a Native America wearing a wolf headdress riding a white horse.

If you are local to Central Florida, you can also find this piece and more in person at America’s Antique Mall in Melbourne. Ask for seller “elk”.

1st – Eyes of the Wolf

2nd – Spirit of the Wolf

3rd – Song of the Wolf

4th – Prayer of the Wolf

5th – Guardian of the Wolf

6th – Quest of the Wolf

7th – Memory of the Wolf

8th – Hope of the Wolf

How to Price Kindred Spirits Wolf Plates

An example of one of my tags is, “1996 Prayer of the Wolf Plate from Kindred Spirits Series by Diana Casey from The Bradford Exchange”. And for the others, I just changed the name of the plate on the tag.

I found these individual dishes ranges from $10 to $25. I listed mine for $10 each. They do come with an official certificate that mine did not have. I found that most of the higher priced ones have that certificate.

Where to Purchase Kindred Spirits Wolf Plates

You can find my collection of these Kindred Spirits Wolf Plates on Etsy…

… and on eBay.

Here is the Hope of the Wolf Plate from cedes85 on Ebay for $22. There are other plates from this collection, and all have the certificate.

Here is a Set of all 8 Plates from har-2702.

They are beautiful plates, very detailed! It’s great you found them even if they don’t have the certificate with them! 🙂

Hope that you are having a great weekend! 🙂

The Bradford plates were a big thing for a while. My Mom had given me some but then people stopped collecting them and the prices dropped dramatically. The wolves are beautiful.

Yes, it’s unfortunate. I think decorative plates in general are not as popular, but more for me! I have quite the collection, hehe
