In this week’s edition of Thrift Store Thursday, I’m sharing this beautiful Primitive Wooden Photo Box.

This is a beautiful small box that could be used to store things like old photos or jewelry, and it holds a 5 x 7 photo. It’s made really well, which makes me feel like it might be from the 1980’s, but hard to tell when it was made because there is no maker’s mark or date.

The photo inside it is country primitive themed with a cute bunny, and a sweet saying that says “a sister is a special friend”,

but it’s easy to remove and change.

If you are local to Central Florida, you can also find this piece and more in person at America’s Antique Mall in Melbourne. Ask for seller “elk”.

How to Price a Wooden Photo Box

It was tough for me to find anything similar to this. I searched “vintage wooden photo box”, “country primitive wooden box”, “used wooden photo box”, “a sister is a special friend”, “vintage a sister is a special friend”, and a couple others without much luck as mostly just new items were popping up.

For my tag, I simply put “A Sister is a Special Friend” Wooden Box, and I priced it at $15 based on a couple similar listings I found, which I will share below.
