How to Wear Gray and Yellow with Camo

How to wear gray and yellow with camo in the Winter.

I came across this Evolution Sweater from ModCloth March of last year on sale for around $30. I thought the graphic on it was really funny, and for the price, I knew I was getting a good deal. It’s sold out now.

I tried it on as soon as it arrived, and it fit like a glove, which is hard to find. Sadly after trying it on though, it sat in my closet because here in Florida, sweaters aren’t needed in the Spring or Fall, so I had to wait until cold weather arrived in December.

Winter in Florida is very up in the air, and unexpected. The last two days, we had afternoons in the low 80s, but rain last night brought a high of 62 degrees today – perfect for wearing my sweatshirt out!

And when the weather drops even more, or in the evenings, I love wearing earwarmers. You will almost always find me with my hair up in a bun, so earwarmers are my go-to accessory.

This one is my Little Pebbles Earwarmer – there is a free crochet pattern available on my EyeLoveKnots blog. I am a sucker for texture, and this stitch pattern is just gorgeous. If you don’t crochet, I found a couple similar ones on Etsy HERE and HERE.

I’ve paired my Evolution Sweatshirt with camo pants I got from Ross, and burgundy boots from Shoeland (my favorite boots! – these are similar ones).

So glad I could inspire! I am enjoying the color combo this year. Shame I haven’t done any other outfits yet, but now you’ve got me thinking about it!

Cute sweatshirt! I love ModCloth too. They have such a unique array of clothing items. Also, I can relate weather wise. California is similar in the sense that our temperatures are also mild so it’s hard to invest in jackets or coats when I know for a fact, I would only need it a few times during the winter months.

Yes! Glad to hear that I am not alone in the weather to fashion struggle. Best wishes!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind On Rockwood Lane and EyeLoveKnots! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.

I've been shopping for a noodle bowl with chopstick holder for my niece. I really like this design.

Black OUGES Top (aff link)

When I received this black Ouges brand top in my September Amazon Wardrobe box, I was pretty happy. I have a similar top that I received in an earlier box that is the same brand, and I love the fit of it. I think the raglan style gives me a sort of confidence. I am a 42″ bust wearing the size Medium. There are several other colors available too!

It's lip balm season, and these lip balm holders are excellent! They come on a swivel hook that can be attached anywhere for easy access, and to make sure you don't lost your lip balm at the bottom of your bag. I personally have one of these. The quality is great, and Candace is lovely to work with! PLUS they come in 11 colors!
