Glass Double Seashell Footed Dish

July 8, 2021

In this week’s edition of Thrift Store Thursday, I’m sharing this gorgeous double seashell dish.

This post contains affiliate links for eBay and Etsy. If you make a purchase by clicking on them, I make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for your support!

In this week’s edition of Thrift Store Thursday, I’m sharing this gorgeous double seashell dish.

I love this seashell dish. The detail and texture in the glass are really lovely, but all on the bottom side so the part of the dish you use is smooth.

It measures about 11″ long by 6.5″ wide with two little feet on each side. It also has some weight to it so it’s nice and sturdy.

This is a great dish to drop your keys in, keep your rings in or yummy candy or even a tropical scented potpourri, just to name a few things.

Originally when I was looking, I saw a listing that said Vintage Avon, but now it must have sold because I don’t see anything on it. There are no markings on this dish, so I am unsure of maker and when it was made – drop me a line below if you have more information on this dish.

If you are local to Central Florida, you can also find this piece and more in person at America’s Antique Mall in Melbourne. Ask for seller “elk”.

How to Price a Glass Seashell Dish

My tag says “Vintage Glass Double Seashell Footed Dish”.

In search, I found that these range from $18 – $30. I priced mine at $25.

Where to Purchase a Glass Seashell Dish

I found a few for sale online that are similar to this one…

You can purchase mine on Etsy for $25.

Here is the exact one on eBay from seller mbroussard-hubbard for $30

This similar one on eBay from wallis642 for $18 is basically the same thing but two separate dishes instead of connected in the middle.

I also found not the same style, but a glass seashell dish on eBay from gamar-4350 for $15

And a similar one to the one about on Etsy from RekindledfindsShop for $10

I think so too! Sometimes I wish I had a coastal themed home just so I could have fun pieces like this around.

Gorgeous looking shell dish. And I really appreciate the tips on how to price items to sell. It can be dicey when you want to flip something quickly and don’t know what it’s worth. Thanks!

So glad you found that helpful! I know when I am buying to sell, I do a lot of research, and sometimes it’s frustrating trying to find something, especially if it’s more rare so I am trying to build a resource to make it easy for others.
