Missing These Beautiful Azaleas

April 8, 2021

Please enjoy some beautiful pink Azalea flowers from my garden! These might just be my favorite flower.

In revisiting some older posts on my EyeLoveKnots blog, I came across these beautiful Azaleas.

These snaps are from March of 2015, back when I still had my childhood home. Right outside the door, we had a huge Azalea bush, and in the Spring, the whole thing would be covered in these gorgeous pink Azalea flowers. They also had a little bit of white on them, though it’s hard to see in these photos.

This year, I was missing them so much, I bought two of my own plants, but sadly, they didn’t bloom for me. I am very much looking forward to seeing these beauties in the Spring though!

This was the view to my right when I would be outside taking photos of my crocheted pieces.

And a view from the front of the bush – Azaleas everywhere!!

I wish this photo would have turned out! If you look near the center, you can see the dark spot in the flower. It is a bee! He was flying around so fast, from one flower to the other.

Above the flower you’ll see an elephant sitting amongst them. He was from a fountain, and when the base broke, he came to sit right here, up on a wire shelf that’s hidden there.

So many beautiful Azaleas! Can’t wait for mine to bloom.

Such beautiful and cheerful blooms! Love the elephant and I don’t know if I would have noticed him if you hadn’t mentioned he was there. I can’t to see my garden blooming this Spring!

This is definitely their time of year. Mine are pretty dormant the rest of the year, including the one that is supposed to be in bloom at year, but I just love seeing all the beautiful flowers!
