Easy green and gold shamrock nail art with Color Street’s Clover Takeover.

I bought this Clover Takeover last April. I wanted to make sure I got a set before it was retired, and I held onto it to use this year. Though Color Street no longer has this set available for purchase on their site, you can still find it on sites like Poshmark and eBay, or try contacting a Color Street stylist – mine is Lindsay of the Nailchix Boutique. I love being a part of her NailChix Boutique VIP Facebook Group.
Clover Takeover is a glittery gold base with three varieties of designs in the set: 1. dark green glittery shamrocks; 2. a shamrock with rainbow; 3. what looks like a shamrock stencil was held and dark green was dabbed on over it leaving the shamrock outlines.
Would you look at that broccoli in my vegetable garden! It’s really growing beautifully. I have a couple broccoli plants in here, and can’t wait to harvest some!
My nails are short enough that I am able to use one strip for two fingers, so I set them up in order on my table, and then resealed the extras in the original package using my Food Saver. I have packages that I resealed a year ago that are still good as new today so I will leave these extras for next year.
My burgundy waffle knit top is from SheIn. It’s this Notch Neck Pocket Waffle Knit Tee – they have 8 colors to choose from. Last year, I got this burgundy colored one, and a gray. I highly recommend getting some! They’re so soft and cozy, and wear well. Warning – they do fit like a crop top though. I pair it with my High Waisted Jeans from No Boundaries. For reference, I am a 42″ in bust and wear the Large size (this is not me in the photo – it is the image from SheIn’s site). I also found a similar top on Amazon that has 23 color/print options!
My burgundy boots are another fave! They’re sneaker boots which I just love! I found mine at Ross two years ago, but back in November, I spotted them at Shoeland in the burgundy and in black. They are Forever brand.
How about one more look at these fun Clover Takeover nails? Then gold with the green shamrocks on my pink and ring finger are my favorite of the three designs.
How about that gorgeous, gray textured background? I just finished working up a beautiful turtleneck poncho for my EyeLoveKnots blog. Now I’m just hoping for some nice cold weather to enjoy my new Pistachio Poncho – not sure if I’ll get it here in Florida, but I’ve got my fingers crossed!
